Meaningful design for consumer & medical
Passionate about design and people, I seek challenges in medical and social impact related problems where design can improve and save lives.
I lead programs from ideation, iterations to regulatory preparation.
For the past ten years, I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams including ID/UX/UI and graphic designers, ME/EE engineers, strategist and business professionals on a variety of projects from future scenarios of technology usage, to tableware, footwear, work environments, electronics and medical products. I initiate user research, create design concepts and led more than 15 products that went to market.
In Europe, I worked for such large companies as Tupperware, Kickers and Leroy Merlin. In the US, I have worked at leading San Francisco Bay Area ID design consultancies Fuseproject and New Deal Design. I was also leading the design department at Bridge Design, a Ximedica company specialized in medical et regulated devices.
I like to discover new cultures and ways of thinking. I enjoy bringing multidisciplinary teams together and inspiring team spirit.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Bringing consumer product LOOK & feel intO healthcare ecosystems
The medical industry is at the edge of its revolution, with seven years working in consumer electronics for leading companies such as Google and Skype. I am bringing the sensitivity and elegance into details to the medical industry for developing refined products and experiences integrated into everyday lifestyle and consumer expectations.
BLENDING PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL INTO ONE COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE
Nowadays, the information the user get on the screen is as important as the ergonomics of the actual device. Per my dual experience of being an industrial and interaction designer, I am blending those two world for the best smooth experience.
TACKLING PROJECTs WITH IMPACT
Being a designer is the chance to create a better future, I am embracing projects that have a wider impact on human wellbeing and social awareness, especially interested in children rights. As well as how art can gather community and inspire better behaviors.
